Mykology

Mykology are a Dublin-based indie-folk/Americana trio featuring Mick O’Gorman on vocals, acoustic guitar and harmonica, Christina “Crispy” Quill on banjo and slide guitar, and Evan Heird on double bass.

Their sound blends intimate folk songwriting, acoustic textures and close harmonies with Americana, roots and Irish influences.

Recent live highlights include Electric Picnic 2026, supporting Jerron “Blindboy” Paxton at a sold-out Sugar Club show, Mountshannon Arts Festival and a headline show at Dublin’s Cobblestone.

Their releases include The Bees and Burning Letters, with national radio play and an RTÉ Entertainment Behind the Music feature. Mykology have recently grown to over 4,300 monthly listeners on Spotify and have a string of new releases planned through late 2026 and into 2027.

At its core, Mykology is about songs written with care and brought to life through the natural chemistry of three acoustic musicians.
